Barcelona’s board and manager Xavi share the same opinion on Ousmane Dembélé’s importance to the team, with reports indicating that the French forward is considered “untouchable” by the club. While his €50m release clause is only valid in July, Dembélé is reportedly happy at Barcelona and new contract talks are expected to take place soon. The team is keen to keep him, with both the board and Xavi seeing him as an integral player for the club’s future success
