Bayern Munich is reportedly set to discuss the future of João Cancelo with coach Thomas Tuchel in April/May. However, it has been clarified that Bayern is unlikely to trigger the €70m buy option clause from Manchester City, as it was never a possibility. The only possible way for Bayern to acquire Cancelo would be through negotiations with Manchester City. The Portuguese defender has been in excellent form for City this season, and his performance has caught the attention of Bayern, who are looking to strengthen their defense. However, it remains to be seen whether Bayern will be able to reach an agreement with City for Cancelo’s transfer.
