Ajax Amsterdam manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that striker Wout Weghorst is part of his long-term plans for the club. Weghorst, who is currently on loan from Burnley, has been impressive for Ajax, and the Dutch manager is keen to keep him beyond his loan spell. However, the loan deal from Burnley does not include any buy option clauses, meaning that Ajax will have to negotiate a separate deal with the Premier League club if they wish to make the move permanent. Despite this, ten Hag is optimistic about Weghorst’s future at the club and has praised his performances so far.
