Chelsea and Moroccan international midfielder Hakim Ziyech has revealed that he skipped international duty in order to care for his mother. Ziyech expressed concern for his mother’s well-being and did not want her to get sick while traveling to Qatar. The player further added that he wants to keep his mother with him for a little longer as she is very dear to him. Ziyech also stated that he prefers to help his mother discreetly and does not want to publicize his charitable actions. Chelsea fans will appreciate the midfielder’s dedication to family and his humility in helping others

Hakim Ziyech: “My mother was not in Qatar, she is already quite old and many people got sick there. I didn’t want her to get sick because of me. I would like to keep her with me a little longer.” 😁❤️
“My mother is very simple. She is also attached to her house, she has lived there for forty years. Her children were born there, her husband died there. If I help, I want to do it discreetly. The value of alms disappears when it is communicated.” 🧕🏻🇲🇦
