Barcelona has confirmed the signing of Eric Garcia on a free transfer from Manchester City. The 20-year-old defender, who began his career at La Masia before moving to City, has agreed on a five-year deal with the Catalan club, with a release clause of €400 million. Garcia is seen as a long-term replacement for Gerard Pique, who has been at the heart of the Barcelona defense for over a decade.
